For those of you who are writers, or lover of stories, we are testing out a new system put together by our very own Ridden, called Fanfics.

Writers can upload, and even edit your stories, add pages and chapters.
Readers, instead of having to scroll down to read, the stories are broken down into chapters and pages.

Click on the Fanfics link in the menu, test it out , and give us your thoughts.

I have tried to do it with the stories I have already posted. But I am unable to manage that. Is it because of my lack of knowledge? Or is it only possible with new stories?

It is possible with any story, old or new.

1. Hover over 'Fanfics' (Between 'My Messages' & 'Gallery'

2. From the two drop down options, click on 'My Fanfics'

3. Click on the central button 'Add Story'

4. Fill in the boxes marked 'Title' and 'Summary'

5. Select a Category from the list, if in doubt, choose the one most predominant in your story.

6. In the 'Rating' Box, Select 'Mature'

7. Leave the 'Discussion Topic' box blank.

8. If your story is complete, click the box next to 'Complete' otherwise leave it blank.

9. In the 'Title' box, insert the title of your story.

10. Paste your story into the big 'Story' box. (See note below)

11. Click the 'Save' button below the 'Story' box.


It sounds complicated but it is simple to do. Please note the boxes marked * MUST be filled in.

It is possible to write directly into the story box. I strongly suggest you don't. Nothing is saved until you click the 'Save' button, so any problem and you lose your work. Personally I cut/paste from a plain text file .txt but you can cut/paste from any document you like.

Once you have saved a story, it will be listed the next time you click on the 'My Fanfics' button. It will allow you to edit a posted story, add a chapter to an incomplete story, or even delete your story if you so desire.

When I go to fanfics I see no 'add story' button

Im sorry I missed your "question

Hover over the Fanfics button and click on My Fanfics.
The Ad story button will be right under the chatbox
