How to make this Forum better for everyone.

So, you want to know how YOU can make this Forum better for everyone..??

The short answer right now is to visit, and STAY..!!

Why should that make a difference..??

The simple truth is that most new members here have crossed over from BF. Many have lamented it's demise, have wished for a new home. Jaydog has created this site, not for himself, certainly not for money, but for you. Yes YOU..!!

Because this Forum is new, it will take time to build up a membership, both active contributors and lurkers. All are welcome.

BUT

If a member, new or not, logs in to see few people here, they will often go. Why..?? Basic human nature, combined with being used to a site with a huge membership and a healthy number of people logged in at any time of day or night.

It takes time for a new site to build up, YOU can help just by being here, there are no adverts, no popups, no membership fee, no download limits. Why not show your support by simply not closing your browser, even if you are busy or elsewhere on the 'net..?

Obviously I'm not suggesting anyone leave themselves open to discovery etc.

Many people have expressed their dislike of the various limits and restrictions placed on members of BF. This site has none of them. Is it the only alternative, no. But it has the potential to be a wonderful site that welcomes all, artists, lurkers, writers, everyone.

So in these early days, why not show your support by simply being here, enjoy the artwork, the stories, the 'Fun and Games' or just leave this browser window open and open another one to do whatever you want elsewhere...

Hi ! Just me Citizen ! Great and wellwritten stories are just amazing to read, any possibility to have one sction for fiction stories and one section for true stories, just a suggest from me Take care !

It would be nice to be able to add codes to the stories so readers could quickly find the kind of story they are in the mood for. Unfortunately at present the software we are using does not allow for it.

In the 'Fanfic' section you will find stories grouped by the predominant theme. F/Dog etc. That is as close as we can get for now, at least until the 'Fanfic' software is updated or expanded.

All suggestions are welcome, even if at present they are not achievable.

Is there a way to follow a thread or have a longer alert that something has been added.

Sometimes when you post in a thread it is nice to be able to read any follow-ups.  There is a quick pop up on entry but that vanishes fairly quickly

At the top left of the page, it says "Hello Shady Lady"

The two links below that are;

Show unread posts since last visit.

Show new replies to your posts.

If before leaving you go to the bottom right of the Home page and click "MARK ALL MESSAGES AS READ" those two links will always be current and up to date.

Have there been any discussions about adding a section for zoo discussions? Not all BF members were art/story enthusiasts. Perhaps allowing a place for serious and constructive zoo talk would help attract others who were left homeless after the close of BF. Thanks
