Adding large images to posts
« on: February 04, 2019, 08:48:48 AM »
OK, clicking on "Attachments and other options" and dragging images onto the box works, but it produces small thumbnails (which can in turn be clicked on to expand). However, nothing I've been able to discover will embed the entire full-size image into the body of the post, rather as Canis' latest posts do.

What's the secret? Because I'd be happy to go back to my earlier posts and replace the thumbnails with full-size images.

(Also, is there or can there be any way of deleting a post entirely? My "Image test" post was a failed experiment in placing large images, and could certainly be axed...)

Sorry I missed this thread.
I`m pretty sure he used the gallery workaround trick that I posted in the support thread.

Upload the image to your gallery, then paste the BB code from your gallery into your post.

Please give it a shot and let me know if it works.

PS. image test removed

I tried that earlier, but it wasn't working. Turns out the code imgur was giving me was a simple address, not the BB code you mentioned. Going back to imgur I found the correct code, so I'll be updating my earlier posts! Thanks.

That's how I did it.  :)

I'm copying the BB code from the gallery image too, but my image still gets resized to 600x400 even though it's 1500x1100

Did we fix this Joe? Or does the problem still persist?
